She was born on April 7, 1960, in Kentville, Nova Scotia, and eventually moved to Halls Harbour, where she met the love of her life, Paul. She spent many years raising her children and foster children in the Annapolis Valley and the town of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. She pursued many passions in self-employed sales from her home and in the community, a family-owned home bakery and craft store business, as well as many crafting hobbies.
She was known for her big, tender, and passionate heart and kindness, who loved God, her family, friends, and fur baby cat, Socks, deeply, and anyone who needed love or compassion. She was a devoted Christian and was often involved in her church community over the years, teaching Sunday school, singing in the choir, leading Bible studies with her husband, and participating in many other church activities. She loved to thrift shop, find a good sale, and collect precious moment figurines, books, wicker baskets, crafts, teddy bears, jewellery, and many other beautiful things to gift to others.
The family would like to thank all the home care PSWs, nurses, A.R.C.H. staff, where she spent her final day, various medical professionals who cared for her over the years, Arthur Funeral Home, Dwayne D Budgell Funeral Home, and Freedom
House.
