Dean Alexander Currie

CURRIE, Dean Alexander (born November 2, 1957) – With very heavy hearts and raised heads we announce the passing of our father on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 4:20 in the afternoon. Dear son of Antoinette (Bessie) MacLean (late Roy) and Jackie Currie (Peggy). Poppsie of Alex (Maddy), Kathleen, Eric, Brett and Stephen. Special grandfather of Alyssa. Brother of Donald, Charlene D’Addario (Dominic), Jake, Donna, Bobby, Jen Grawbarger (John), Brian (Tracey), Anna (Paul), Dougie, Mark (Lisa), Bradley (Shelly), Barry, Louanne, Shelly (Joe) and Jody. He will be missed by his many, many, many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Joey. Dean loved and respected his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Dean was a proud member of Local 1036 Labour Union and he will be sadly missed by his Union Brothers who Dean loved to work with. In keeping with Dean’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held and a Memorial Service for friends will follow at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Liver Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Dean’s children would like to thank the nursing staff on 3C for their guidance and care, the amazing nurses in ICU, Dr. Bignell for his professionalism and a very special thank you Dr. Minemma for his care and compassion.
