David, Elizabth, Hannah, Esther, Naomi and Leah and James:  Debbie was such a sweetheart and Angel.  We will miss her so much.  We are so grateful to have known her and I know that she was placed in my life by our Father in Heaven for a reason.  She was such a friend and a women with so much faith and love to share with anyone and everyone she knew.  I am so blessed to have had her as a friend.  Our email correspondence was a continuous inspiration and so positive as we both struggled with our own treatments, she in the Sault and myself at Princess Margaret.  She gave me so much hope with all of her positive messages.  I know that there are so many others who benefited from this wonderful person who was truely a gift from God.  We fondly remember our fun dinners and football outings, with Elizabeth sitting as an infant inside the NOSSA Trophy, Esther sound asleep in the snugli at the MSU game,Naomi sleeping through a noisy Super Bowl dinner night and Hannah and Elizabeth with their pom poms made by their loving Mom cheering loudly at the SJD games.  Debbie was a joy to be around!  We will miss her.  We pray for all of you and your extended family.  Her love will live on in so many people.  Love Catherine and Ken White

While I don't personally know any of you, your lives and your struggles have impacted my life. I am so sorry for your loss and your grief. I am thankful that the Lord is a part of your lives and that He is always in control.  The path ahead will not be easy, but I know He will be faithful in sustaining all of you each and every day. Praise the Lord Debbie is at peace with her Savior who came to earth during this season so long ago precisely to give bless us with the gift of salvation!

We are remembering many fun times spent together, and enjoying those memories (pixie slippers, late night coffee times, New Years dinners etc), as I am sure you will relive many memories as well.  We were blessed with your friendship as a couple in the early years of our marriage.  

We are thankful that God was merciful to Deb in so many ways throughout her long illness.  We continue to focus our prayers on you and your family in the days ahead, so know that you are being held up in prayer before God's throne, and I know that we are only one of many who will also be doing the same thing.  It's great to be part of God's family!

It was such an honour to have known Debbie since she was a teenager and Gerry and I were a young married couple.  Her beautiful smile and gracious manner stand out in my memories, along with the twinkle in her eyes (especially when she looked at Dave).  Over the past year or so we were so blessed to bring flowers and "parties" to Debbie and Dave when she was no longer able to get out.  I always left those visits feeling uplifted by the fun fellowship we had together... the cancer faded into the background as we laughed and visited together.  Gerry's and my rides home in the car were always quiet as we were both lost in our thoughts about the good times but also concerned about the future for Debbie.  We need not have been concerned!  God took care of her... He was gracious to allow her last days to be comfortable and she did not linger... God took her gently and she is now in the arms of her Saviour whom she honoured and glorified!  Our love and prayers will continue for Dave, Elizabeth, Hannah, Esther, Naomi, Leah and James as well as Doug and Lynn, and the rest of the family.  Love, Betsi Fowler

She's still here loving and guiding and watching over all of you ... I believe she just might be the prettiest guardian angel ever!  Loved being her neighbour and friend and loved how good she was to my kids, Sam and Dev.

Dear Dave and Elizabeth, Hannah, Esther, Naomi, Leah and James, Doug and Lynne and Craig, Uncle Jim:  Deb's shining testimony and faithfulness to her Lord is an amazing example to us all.  We are heartbroken as a family for your loss.  We know she is with our Lord and Saviour but also feel this incredible saddness for you as husband, father & mother, brother, father-in-law and as children.  We have great memories in youth group, and then as families together at the cottage.  I can still hear that gregarious and infecteous laughter that punctuated so much of Deb's conversation with those around her.  As the Aussie's say, she was "all in" and loved laughing at herself as much as with others.
Our prayers for comfort and the presence of the Holy Spirit, the great Comforter are covering you.

Heaven must have needed an Angel! Debbie has sown the seeds she was assigned too, her job was done but her fruit will last for generations. Upholding you Dave, children, Doug & Lynne, Craig & Tarah, Cathy & Peter.  We are all the richer for knowing Debbie.
