TANGIE, Edith Elizabeth Emily - Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late John Tangie. Loving mother of Dorothy Jacques (Gates), Liz Boyer (Ken), Cathy McKay (late Harold), late Beverly Tangie Hetner, Karen Tangie (Ken), Bernie Tangie, Lorne Tangie (Joan) and her furry companion JR. Proud grandmother of seventeen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Irene Black and predeceased by her parents Peter and Emily Saunders and brothers Lawrence Saunders, Clifford Saunders, Raymond Saunders and sisters Audrey Saunders and Muriel Parise. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 7:00 until 9 pm. A funeral service to be held in the chapel on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
