Dear Aunt Helen, Richard, Roger and family:
I will always have fond memories of my uncle and the time that I drove from Montreal on my Goldwing to the Soo with my sister Carmen and we had a beautiful lunch together with uncle Edmond and aunt Helen in their home.My mother was always proud of her youger brother and I will always remember his continuous smile.

Dear Helen and Family
Ed was one of my Dad's best friends. I remember him very fondly. Ed came to my Dad's 80th birthday and his funeral 4 years later. My Dad cherished their friendship. Ed was always polite and considerate, except for a particular moment in time when I was 16 working my first day on the job for my Dad at Korah High School. I was with a group that were pulling nails from lumber. The nails were all over the path his company's fork truck was traveling. I was closest to him. He didn't know I was Roy's son and he gave me a tongue lashing because the nails could have punctured the tires of the fork truck. After that we got along fine. 
On many occasions Dad won't bid on a construction project unless Ed was the brick laying contractor. Ed was a great person with allot of integrity. His smile was very contagious.
We know he is heaven.

It has been my absolute privilege to get to know and spend time with Edmond at the Davey Home. Edmond was unfailingly pleasant, respectful, and generous sharing his smiles and his stories. Edmond was always willing to listen to others and never passed a chance to help someone. I will miss Edmond's conversation and company and most of all his sense of humour.
