MOORE, Eldon Albert (Al) - The family announces with profound sadness the unexpected, but peaceful passing of our dear father and grandfather at his home on Thursday, March 1, 2018. We had just celebrated his 87th birthday. He is now reunited with the love of his life, Lois, who passed away in November 2008 and who he missed dearly. He was the son of the late Richard Moses and Alexia Moore and son-in-law of the late Harold and Margaret Frech. Cherished father of Randy (Betty) of Calgary, Barb Klein (Ralph) and Karen Sartoretto (Rob). He was a loving and proud grandpa to Ryan, Owen (deceased), Kelly and Sarah Moore; Kurtis, Nicholas and Bradley Klein; and Michelangelo, Gregory (Vanessa) and Noah (Brianna) Sartoretto. He was the youngest of eight siblings. Survived by his sister Dorothy Perryman (late Elwood) and sister-in-law Kay Moore (late Clint). Also predeceased by Norma Handy (Robert), Kenneth (Marjorie), Athene Hackett (George), Merlin (Margaret), Margaret McCauley (Clifford). Special brother-in-law of late Gerald Frech (Terry), Darlene Mitchell (late Ken), Clarence Frech (Lois), Marguerite Waite (Wayne), late Clifford Frech (Elsie Shunock), and late Patricia Frech. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and many friends who were like family. He was a kind, gentle soul whose door was always open for a cup of coffee or tea and some of his wonderful baking. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. – 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 11 am. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment at West Korah Cemetery.
