STEWART, Elizabeth Martin “Betty” – Peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Sault Area Hospital Plummer Site at the age of 78. Loving wife of Alex for 55 years. Cherished mother of Elaine Irwin (Ross), late David and Robbie. Grandma of David and Stephen Stadnik, Nicole (Rob Smith) and Bradley Stewart. Great grandma of Gavin and Aidyn Stadnik, and Leah Lynn Elizabeth Smith. Sister of John Irons (late Jean), Sadie Fullerton (Adam), Hugh Irons (Catherine), Robert Irons (Heidi), Edward Irons (Betty), May Currie (Mike) and late Margaret Ballantyne (late Hiram). Daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Irons. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Scotland, England and Canada. Betty will be dearly missed by her special friends Erika, Emmy, Cathy and Terry. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 6-9 pm. Memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 12 pm. Rev. John Wilson officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
