MCGINNIS, Gladys Isabelle – With heavy hearts we announce that on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, mom passed away in her home with her daughter Dianne and little dog Cassie in her 79th year. She will be reunited with her husband Warren who passed away on February 26, 1989. Loving mother of three children, beloved mother and best friend of Dianne Juby (Mark) and Doyle McGinnis (Theresa) both of Desbarats. Devoted gramma of Darren Juby (Diane), Doyle McGinnis Jr. (Jamie), Kyle McGinnis and the late Darryl McGinnis. Loving great gramma of Cole Juby. She will be greatly missed by her little dog Cassie. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Mary Maitland. Sister and best friend of Lil Barber (late Lyle), sister of Anna Stopes (Ernie), Roy Maitland (Diane), Blanche Deplonty (Barney), Edna Lewis (late Rod), Bert Maitland (Marcia) and the late Alvin, Mary Ellen and Art. Sister-in-law of Ruby Evans, Johnny McGinnis and Lily McKenzie. Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. At our mom’s request there will be no service. Interment at the Desbarats Cemetery. She will be buried at a later date by her children Dianne and Doyle.
