It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Hazel at the age of 85.
She was daughter of the late Ethel and Perry Draper. Predeceased by her husband Jack. Proud mother of Allan (Maureen), Cathleen (Robin) and the late Rick. Much loved grandma of Mike (Trish) and Scott (Kayla). Great grandmother of Madison, Briley, Zayah and Alden. Predeceased by her sisters, Mary (late Irv) and Elsie (late Cliff). She is survived by her brother Robert (Cecilia).
Hazel will be fondly remembered for her quick wit and her sense of humor. Family was the most important thing to Hazel, she would always be there for us if anyone needed anything, celebrating all of our families' successes with us. She was a teacher, and also spent a long career working in a supervisory role in retail. She was never truly ready to retire, she volunteered for countless charities and organizations.
