Predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Donald. Loving mother of Garth Hillstrom (Lee-Anne), Keith Hillstrom (Marci) and Marianne Bowier (Ron). Devoted grandmother to Jennifer Rousseau (Alan), Mara Hillstrom (Paul Honeyford), Colleen Woods (Casey), Stefan Bowier, Deahdra Bowier (Harry Keeno) and Matthew Marrelli (Charissa) . Great grandmother to Emily Durocher (Chris), Addie Fisek (Jeremy), Maija, Sam and Marcel Rousseau, Katelyn and Cameron Honeyford, Cooper Woods and Gabriel and Kaleb Marrelli. Great, great grandmother to Sophie Mae Durocher. Predeceased by her parents Mark and Mara Pavelich and by her mother and father-in-law Anne and Gus Hillstrom. Helen had seven brothers and sisters. Predeceased by Emil Pavelich (Aino), Marion Pavelich (Bruna), Anna Kermend (Joe), John Pavelich (Sue) and Mary Bachmeier (Tony). Survived by Margaret Nikkinen (late Wes) and Mark Pavelich (Audrey). Sister-in-law to Bruce Hillstrom (Loretta), late Jim Hillstrom, Ken Hillstrom (Anne) and Pat Trembath (late Barry). Helen had many nieces and nephews. She was especially fond of her nephew, Gord Bachmeier. Special friend of the late Joe Bumbacco. The family thanks the staff of Driftwood, second floor at the FJ Davey Home for the exceptional care of their mother. Family and friends are invited to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522) for visitation on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral Service following in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Paul Conway officiating. Family interment on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 9:30 am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to FJ Davey Home Foundation (payable by cheque) would be appreciated. All friends and family are welcome to attend a dinner following the service at Grand Garden's North at 5:00 pm.
