Born on October 30, 1960, in Sault Ste. Marie to Leona Robinson (nee McKay) and Martin Robinson of Goulais Bay, Ivan was proud of his roots and his community. He was a devoted fan of the Montreal Canadiens, rarely missing a game and always ready to defend his team. He found joy in reading, puzzles, and crosswords, and was known for being the sharp dressed man in the room — usually with a hint of Old Spice that made his presence unmistakable.
Loving and cherished brother of Rhonda Cook and, Martin Robinson. Beloved uncle of Jeff Cook (Margaret), and Dawn Marie Snider. He was a proud great-uncle to Brad, Davin, and "Stevie girl". He will also be deeply missed by his best friend Keyshia. He will be fondly remembered by his dear friends Saundra, Jordan, Dave, and Ron. Ivan is now reunited with his sisters Theresa, Kelly, his brother Lynn Robinson, his nephew Steve Cook and niece Crystal Snider and great nephew Jake Cook.
