Jack Lamb

LAMB, Walter Jack – Peacefully with his daughters by his side on Saturday, July 17, 2010 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Rose and father of Leslie Bonne and Lori O’Brien (husband Jeff). Very proud grandfather of 5 wonderful grandchildren- Alex, Justin and Patrick Bonne, and Jacob and Collin O’Brien. Son of the late Ruth and Walter Lamb of Kingston, and son-in-law to the late Mabel and Roy McMurter. Brother of the late Jim Lamb (Donna) and Patricia Campbell (the late Howard). Brother-in-law of Bill McMurter (Marg), Phyllis Brownson (the late Ford), the late George McMurter (Dorothy), the late Flossie Freeman (the late Bill), Ralph McMurter (Yvonne), the late Earl McMurter (Sally) and the late Edna Shearer (Thomas). Jack was a long term employee of Kmart and known for his Bowties. Jack started working at S.S. Kresge in 1948, in Kingston. He retired as a manager of Kmart in Sault Ste. Marie, in 1988. He was an avid gardener and loved his roses. We would like to thank the Hamel’s for adopting us as a part of their family. Dad was very lucky to have such good friends. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, July 19, 2010 from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 1 pm.
