LUOMA, Jack – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Jack Luoma of Echo Bay, ON in his 74th year. Jack passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, October 20, 2013 with his family and friends at his side. He was predeceased by the love of his life Pauline in October 2011. He was also predeceased by his parents Jaakko and Hilda Luoma. Jack is survived by Pauline’s daughters Janet Wright and Susan Chartrand and her husband Jim. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Brendan Wright, his wife Blair and their daughter Chloe; Terry Wright and Jenn Welsh; Rev. Pamela Rayment, her husband Jeremy and their son Logan; and Patricia Pretty. As per Jack’s wishes there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to ARCH (Algoma Residential Community Hospice) or the SAH (Sault Area Hospital) Foundation.
