He is survived by his father, Randy; his brothers, Dean, Dwayne (Victoria), and Jay; his daughter, Kaitlyn (Jessie); his son, Kyle; and his cherished grandchildren, Jordann, Beau, Callie, Juan, Kane, and Kiari. Predeceased by his mother, Barbara.
John was a man who loved everything about his job in the steel plant. He took great pride in being part of a union and held a deep respect for the ironworkers' union.
He will be remembered as funny, full of character, a man who loved the outdoors and lived life on his own terms. Above all else, John was a devoted father and grandfather. His daughter and grandchildren were the center of his world, and nothing brought him more joy than time spent with them.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East, 705-759-2522). Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Cormier family.
