

DECOURCY, Jean Elizabeth – The family regrets to announce Jean’s passing on Christmas Eve at the F.J. Davey Home in her 97th year. Loving wife of the late J.B. (Jack) DeCourcy (2004). Loved mom of Garry and Allan and their spouses Beverley and Margaret. Cherished Grandma of Christine (Kiley), Sean (Amanda), Darren (Roberta), Meaghan (Michael) and Claire (John). Loved Great Grandma of Ava, Stella and Jack. Jean is survived by one brother Walter Moskwa (Winnipeg), two sisters-in-law Nettie Moskwa (Red Lake) and Joan Oknianski (Sault Ste. Marie) and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of Jan and Katazyna Moskwa, immigrant Polish farmers who settled in Prawda, Manitoba and raised a family of 6 girls and 4 boys. She and Jack established the family business, The Bel Air Motel (1954 – 1974). Her love of music and dancing were an important aspect of her life. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 7 – 9 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 10 am. at Precious Blood Cathedral. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
