Dear Joe and family. We are truly sorry for the loss of your dearly loved wife and mother Joan. May the many years of treasured memories give you comfort and peace in the difficult days ahead. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely in sympathy and caring ... Louise and Tullio Provenzano

What a special person Joan was. Always with her cute little pixie smile no matter how she felt.
She gave us all a less on how to be upbeat even though you were not filling it. Joan was the true example that you can make something sweet in any situation. “When life gives you lemons you make lemonade”. What a trooper. Her pleasant smile will be missed along with her positive attitude. Rest peacefully our friend we will mis you.
Joe, Joey and Joanne our deepest sympathy and prayers.

Joe, Joanne and Joey
What beautiful memories I have of Joan. For five years we worked together as kindergarten teachers planning a memorable Thanksgiving celebration with costumes, traditional dances and lots of food . We even had the superintendent (Mr. Struk) dress as a pilgrim. Joan was always willing to go out of her way to make learning exciting for the children in her care.
Then at St. Pius I had the privilege (and I do mean privilege) of having Joan as the grade one teacher. She was caring, and a team player with staff. Her kindness and devotion to those who were in her midst will always be remembered! Thanks Joan for being part of such a memorable time in my life! You are a person who will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to the family and all those who loved her dearly. (Bernice Whalen)

Mrs D’Addetta was the most loving, caring and nurturing teacher. 40 years ago, she taught me kindergarten and she remains forever ingrained in my memory as one of my most favourite teachers. I am so sorry for the loss to her family and hope you know the forever impact she made in so many children’s lives.

We are so sorry to hear about Joan’s passing. She was an incredible lady and we have many fond memories of her. Our deepest condolences.

Our family is shocked and saddened to learn of Joan's passing. Joan was such a caring, gentle, thoughtful, and genuine person and wonderful colleague. Joan was truly a blessing , not only to her colleagues, but also to her students. She taught my son, Chris, in kindergarten. Chris remembers Joan with such admiration.
Joe, Joanne, and Joey, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

(Joey and Joanne, my mom asks about you all the time. She sends her condolences, also.)

Bob and I remember the many wonderful trips we had with Joan, Joe, and sometimes the children. She was a very kind, caring individual. She was always there to support you. We appreciated her so much. Joan you will make a beautiful angel. Bob and I will really miss you but we will have 45 years of wonderful memories.

Joe & family

45 years ago, Joan taught me in kindergarten at Sister Mary Clare school. I still recall and have all of the stick and ball work we did to learn how to print ... on the old purple mimeograph machines. I am a teacher now and people forever compliment me on my printing. I always say ... my kindergarten teacher made that happen! She was a lovely, caring person. So sad to hear of her passing. So sorry for your loss.
