WOODS, Joan Mary (Dempsey) – At the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Gene Woods. Loving mother of the late Deborah Burry (Richard), Barry Woods, Brian Woods (Anna), Darlene Osborne (Dan) and Mark Woods (Jennifer). Beloved grandmother of Amber McInnis (Chris), Alea Woods, David Osborne, Joel Osborne, Breanne Woods and great grandmother of Carter McInnis. Will be sadly missed by sister Kay Mick and predeceased by siblings; Helen Ryan, Mike Dempsey and Jack Dempsey. Sister-in-law of Diane Arsenault (Serge), Jack Woods (Cathy), late Joan and Betty. Joan was known and loved for her knitting which she did for anyone and everyone. She will be sadly missed by all. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, September 6, 2013 from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from St. Gerard Majella on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10 am. Rev. Francis Ezenezi officiating. Cremation will follow.
