John "Jack" Young

YOUNG, John Fredrick “Jack” – January 17, 1933 – August 24, 2010 – Peacefully passed away at ARCH. Son of the late Dorothy and Bill Young Sr. Beloved father of Rae-Anne Drouin (Pierre) and Kelly McMillan (Frank). Loving grandpa of Jenae Young, Darryl (Brenna) and Cody McMillan, Caitlin and Alyssa Drouin. Special grandpa Jack to Sarah Toland. Dear brother of Jerry (Mary), Gayeanne Davey (Reg), Tina Behrens (Skip), Reg (Marsha), late Shirley McCrea (late Don), late Bill, and the late Ted (late Sandra). Uncle Jack to many nieces and nephews. Jack will be fondly remembered for his quick and witty sense of humour. Jack had an intense love of horses and is recognized for his extraordinary ability to manage, train and race horses throughout Southern Ontario. During the last 20 years, Jack’s priority was to establish a close relationship with his daughters and grandchildren. He wanted us to know how very much we were loved. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Greenwood Cemetery at 11 am. Memorial donations made to the Algoma Lung Association, Diabetes Association or ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
