WRIGHT, John - Peacefully passed away at Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the age of 93. Much loved father to Susan Pister (Ken) and Jane LeDressay (late George). He will be very missed by grandchildren Rebecca Pister (Herman), Michael Pister (Kristen), Jonathan Pister (Julia), David Pister (Jennifer), Andrew Pister (Deanna), Nicole LeDressay (Dave) and Michelle LeDressay (Noel) and by great grandchildren Ethan, Mason, William and Reeve Pister and Joshua and Alexandra LeDressay. After a full and well loved life John will be rejoining Mollie, the love of his life. My heart can see them gliding over the dance floors in heaven to the tune of Delilah! Many thanks to the amazing staff on 300B for their care of Dad and my family over these last days and to Dr. Bowen for her understanding and care to Dad. Thanks also to Dr. Wacker and to Andrea for fitting in appointments over the last several years. Special thanks and hugs to Dad's friends and the staff at the Great Northern Retirement Home. I know Dad will be sorely missed.

Sue, just read about your Dad. Glad he went peacefully. After a life well lived that is our greatest hope. Hugs and prayers and happy memories. I will miss his smiles at GNRH as my Dad's neighbour.

We are all remembering John very fondly. Whenever I had the chance to see him, he always asked about our family and always had a kind word. Such a warm, wonderful gentleman. We all remember John dancing with his Mollie, and Sue your image of them dancing together again is beautiful and heartwarming. I know you will miss him dearly but please take comfort in the time you shared and the love and care you gave him. With our deep-felt sympathies and love.

My condolences to Sue and Ken and the Pister family. Sue I will remember many of your great stories about your weekly visits with your amazing father. Fathers are such special people in our lives and you shared a unique bond with yours. Cherish all the great memories you have of the times you had together, from family weddings to recent lunches out and shopping for obscure items that your Dad just had to have for the special little project he had on the go. My warm thoughts and love to you and your family Sue.

Condolences from our family. One of my first adult, grown up dances (when I was about 13) was with Uncle Johnny. It was at Nan and Grandpa, Kay and Jimmie to everyone else, on their 50th wedding anniversary. He will be missed by anyone who was lucky enough to know him.
