Joseph "Deed" Coulson

COULSON, Joseph Homer Thomas (Deed) – Born July 1, 1918 – Died September 14, 2012 – Passed away with his family by his side at the FJ Davey Home on Friday, September 14, 2012. Dear husband of the late Irene Sylvia Coulson (Laird) for 71 years. Loved father of John (late Pamela), Cheryl Rancourt (William) and Jeanette Brazeau (Gerald). Grandfather of Stephanie Pascall (Tim), Rheba Beal (Richard), Joseph Andrew (Debbie), Michael Brazeau and Derek Rancourt (Kirsten). Great grandfather of Morgan, Emily, Alyssa, Bridget, Aislinn, Kile, Kain and Caden. Joseph was the son of the late Matthew Arnold Coulson (Scotty) and the late Dina Coulson (Trudeau). Very special grandson of the late Rosanna Constantineau (Trudeau). Dear brother in law of the late Carlton Laird (late Pearl), late Jean Hicklen (late Peter Pozzo)(late Ken Hicklen), Doreen Laird (late Jack), Margaret Gilliam (Fred). Sadly missed by his numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Good friend of Frank Dunn, late Roy Walker, late Bruno Brescasin, late Amy Charrette, late Red Girardi. Joseph was retired from Algoma Steel for 39 years. Dad was an outdoor enthusiast and loved fishing and hunting. He and his wife enjoyed many happy times in search of those white fish in our Northern Ontario Lakes. They also enjoyed many winters in Panama City Beach Florida. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations to the FJ Davey Home Walkway to Health would be appreciated.
