ROBINSON, Kenneth Edward (Kenny) "Smokey" "Papa Kenny" - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the unexpected passing of Kenny from natural causes at home on Sunday, June 6, 2021 in his 64th year.

Loving and devoted father of Amanda Kelly (nee Currie)(Chris). Proud papa of Kaleb (Papa's "Little Man"). Amanda, Chris and Kaleb were Kenny's world as everyone who knew him would know. Cherished son of Irene and the late Cecil Robinson. Beloved and treasured brother of Cecil Jr. (Tammy), Rick (Alyson), Brian, Wayne (Colette) and Marie. Special uncle of Staci (Cale), Tyler (Sheila), Cody, Ian, Aaron (Lindsey), Nicole (Brock) and Ryan (Emma). Great uncle of nine. Super special great uncle of Adrianna and Sonny. Lifelong friend of Anna and the Currie family, Mike Schoch, Darin Warnock, Johnny Yukich and Marylou and Ed Kelly. Kenny will be missed greatly by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members on the East Coast and in the United States.

Kenny was one of those people who made you feel welcome and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was always willing to lend a hand, cheer you on or give you his last dollar if you needed it.

Kenny was a valued long term-employee of Avery Construction. His positive attitude and strong work ethic were admired and will be incredibly missed by all. He was also a long term member of the Labourers' Union Local 1036.

Amanda would like to send a special thank you to Wayne Scott and the Labourers' Union 1036 and the Avery Construction family for their generosity, support and caring.

Dear Amanda Chris Kaleb and entire Robinson family.
We are sending our deepest heartfelt condolences to you. We are so very sad and shook up with the passing of your amazing Dad Kenny.
He was an amazing kind hearted person to all.
He always made us feel special, especially my boys. He would just show up on his own and sometimes with Kaleb to watch both my boys play hockey. He adored them and was proud to be cheering them on. Your dad, Serge and I would chat an hour or more about everything under the son. He was just a genuinely charismatic person that left you smiling and wanting to see him again soon. I am proud to have known him and to call him family. Our hearts are truly broken and we will cherish him in our hearts and memory always.
We will pray for you and your family for gentler moments ahead as we know this is a huge and unexpected loss for all of you. Your cherished memories of him along with his love for life and beautiful soul will guide you ALL through this. Love you. ❤ Xoxo

My goodness, Kenny, days before your passing I thought of you and was hoping to see you again with the Avery crew on 6th Ave so I could say hi. Our last conversation was in September 2020, you were proudly doing your job on 6th Ave and we had a nice catching up chat. Mikey was also working that day and instructions on how to get under, around and through the freshly poured concrete covered in plastic were discussed, and I was helped so it wasn't damaged.

You were an amazing friend and always great to be around. Through my childhood friendship with Marie, you were a very protective big brother to me. Thank you for that.

My heart has been hurting since I heard the news of your passing.

My love goes out to Mom, she truly loved every one of her children, and I think of her often.

Cecil, Ricky, Brian and Wayne, although you had your disagreements, you would all protect each other to the end of the world. Brotherly love goes a long way.

Marie, thank you for sharing him as a big brother, not only did he treat me as a little sister, he also was an awesome "uncle figure" to my boys and would often pick them up from bus stops and drive them where they were going or give advice when asked.

Amanda, your dad was so proud of you and loved you with all his heart.

Chris, he was so pleased that you made Amanda so happy.

Kaleb, my gosh, you put the light in your Papa's eyes. His world revolved around you.

Anna, I know your heart is hurting thinking about him being gone but he is everywhere.

Ryan, Emma, Adriana and Sonny, he loved you with all his heart.

Pop, I'm sure by now you've taken him under your wing and welcomed him to his new home.

To the rest of the family, I'm so sorry for your loss but I'm sure he wouldn't want us to be sad for too long, he'd want us to think of the happy times we had together, let's all cherish them.

Cheers Kenny!
