Kyle was a deeply loved son, brother, and uncle. He had a quiet, steady presence and a heart full of kindness. He felt most at home in nature, whether fishing in Alberta’s lakes or walking through the woods in Ontario. For Kyle, being outdoors wasn’t just a pastime, it was a way of being. Fishing, in particular, became a kind of ritual for him. He found peace in it, and he loved sharing that experience with others as a fishing guide and outdoor enthusiast, patiently teaching those around him how to slow down and enjoy the stillness.
Kyle loved and he was loved, immeasurably. As a son to Darlene and Curt, Kyle was devoted and thoughtful. As a brother to Stefanie, he was loyal, funny, and fiercely protective. He was a true family man, always looking out for the people he loved in his own quiet way. He adored his niece, Reese, and found real joy in being part of her life. His family is heartbroken by his passing, and the depth of their sadness is matched only by the depth of their love for him.
Kyle will be remembered for his generous heart, gentle spirit, and the love he gave to those around him. His deep connection to nature lives on in the places he loved.
Kyle will be missed desperately by his mom, Darlene, his sister, Stefanie, and his niece, Reese. He is predeceased by his beloved father, Curt Robinson, with whom he shared a deep and lasting bond. Kyle will also be deeply missed by his extended family, including cousins, aunts, uncles, neighbours, colleagues, and many close friends who loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kyle’s memory may be made (by cheque or online) to the Nature Conservancy of Canada. For those who loved him, time spent in nature may offer some peace and a place to feel close to him where his spirit lives on.
