Dear Tom and Family
I am terrible sad for your families loss. My hearts aches for all of you. Seeing her passing was very shocking for both Mark and I.
Losing someone we love, leaves a hole in our hearts.
I hope sharing my memories gives a idea of our admiration . Laura was a wonderful person. I always enjoyed our talks and catching up about our kids.
She always had my interests a heart when it came to my business. She advised me well with a personal touch for over 25 years . Laura never ever missed a thing , she was a sharp, intelligent woman as well as caring . When she would call me, I knew I had missed something , I would scold myself silently. Year after year I would say to myself before bring in my paperwork, make sure you get it right. I would tell her darn! I was sure I had this right this year. She would have a chuckle, she knew farewell taxes were not my thing. She helped guide me through some terrible and personal family losses, without her guidance and help at that time in my life, I would of been lost. I trusted her on everything and I know Mark did as well.
Laura was so proud of her family and children . We often would get off track when we started talking about our families, because that was her joy. I'm smiling thinking of this, because this is memory of Laura I will always have. Her voice would light up when we would catch up on our children and where they are at in there lives, as our kids went to school together. Sharing our stories and our joint admiration of how proud we both were of our children.
I personally always considered her as friend because that is how she treated me anytime we had contact. Laura never missed chance to ask me how I was doing, which showed how she cared about people she had come to know, she was genuinely interested . She will be miss. I am going to miss her and I am profoundly saddened by this news. Please know Mark and I are deeply heartbroken for your family . Patricia , Mark and Tiffany Parsons

Shocked and Saddened hearing the news of Laura's passing. She was my first, last and only accountant. She gave me the confidence to do it on my own. Loved her straight forward chats, sense of humour and always that sparkle in her eyes. Hugs and Happy memories to Tom and Family.

My condolences to Tom and family. Laura provided me with a CO-OP opportunity several years ago which turned into a full-time position. You are an inspiration to other women in business and I thank you for the opportunity that allowed me to grow and develop as an individual and in my career. You continued to a part of my life with the contact you had with my mom and especially with my dad. Your hard work, dedication and thoughtfulness will be greatly missed. May you rest in peace!

My condolences.
A professional to the core - but with a lively wit and twinkle in her eye. A sardonic comment, here and there.
Just perfect - she was so proud of her family. I am so sorry for your loss.
Regards,
Helen Gillespie
