Linda was a determined and fearless woman who taught those closest to her strength and perseverance through the life she lived. She met every one of life’s challenges with courage and grace. She was beautiful not only in appearance, but in her heart and soul.
Family was at the very heart of her life. Linda and Frank had a true love for each other that stood the test of time. Their love and devotion to one another was unmatched.
Linda was a wonderful mother and a constant source of strength and support for her children. If more love was possible, she poured it into her grandchildren. Nanny Linda was truly the centre of their lives. Alongside Papa Frank, she never missed a sporting event or dance recital. Linda and her grandchildren spent countless hours at Island Lake, swimming together and playing Scrabble, with Linda never letting the kids win.
Her six great-grandchildren filled her with immense joy and pride every time she was with them. Her love only grew stronger with each generation.
She valued friendship deeply and had a naturally social spirit. She cherished the time she spent with friends and neighbours and will be fondly remembered and missed by many. Linda was a true friend, someone who never spoke ill of others and who treasured the relationships in her life. She was open-minded and accepting. In a world that can be quick to judge, she chose grace.
Linda’s faith guided her through difficult times and was the source of her strength. She was a lifelong learner who did not shy away from challenges and remained determined no matter what stood in her way.
Linda leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, strength, joy, and determination. She taught her family how to be strong, how to love deeply, and how to carry on with courage and happiness.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to Pastor Brad Mittleholtz, the staff at Collegiate Heights, and to pharmacist Clayton and his team at the Medicine Shoppe.
A private family service has been held.
