Son of the late Charles and Sadie Taylor. Dear brother of Norman (Anne). Predeceased by his sister Helen Harten (Charlie), brothers Bill (Marie), Ed (Naomi), Maurice (surviving wife Paddy), Allen (surviving wife Vi), and brother Don Taylor. Uncle Lorne will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews who have many fond memories and stories to tell. He was a special friend to David, Drake, Stephen,and Stephany Peterson.
Lorne retired from Algoma Steel in 1992 and enjoyed life with great friends, family and neighbours at home and at Sunnyside beach.
As per Lorne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society in Lorne’s memory would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522).
