ROSS, Mervin Gerald – Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in his 84th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Marie (Tuumanen) for 57 years.. Loving and caring father of Diana Madill (Larry), Butch (Karen) and Susan Ross-Maltez (Albino). Dear grandfather of Jehremy Madill, Amanda (Chris) and Cody Ross, Ashley (Justin) and John Ross-Maltez. Brother of Ron Ross (Sylvia), Sault Ste. Marie, Bruce (Betty), Doris Collins (Bill), Lisa Parent (Mike) and Donald. Predeceased by his parents Mabel and Frank Ross, and sisters late Fern Brazeau (Roger), late Anita Jessup (Glen), late Shirley Batten (late Bill). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Ken and Betty Thompson and George and Gloria Wood. A family memorial service will be held in April. In lieu of flowers, donations to ARCH, the Lung Association, Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters would be appreciated by the family. Merv will be greatly missed by his many friends and hunting and fishing buddies. Special thanks to Dr. Febbraro, Dr. Berg, Dr. Mathur and Rita Mannarino.
