My heartfelt condolences to Mike's wife Victoria and his children & grandchildren. As a fellow GM employee I remember Mike as a very nice man, always polite and respectful. A true Gentleman gone way too soon. Sincere sympathies for your loss.

I am very saddened to hear about Mike's passing. I grew up on the same street as Mike in St. Catharines, and he, Vito, Maria, and Lino were our friends and neighbours. Though I hadn't seen him for many years, I have very fond memories of Mike and his warmth, calm, and kindness. My heartfelt condolences to all of you.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Mike worked with me at GM on the Westisde of Ontario Street for many years. He was a good electrician and a great guy to work with. We worked together on the shop floor and our gang sure did have a lot of fun and good times together through the heat and cold of the seasons trying to keep the plant running. One of my favorite memories was after an afternoon shift when his ride left early and forgot him. Mike had worked late to complete a repair and did not realize his ride had left. I found him at the clock house wanting to call home to wake up his wife to come and get him. Instead, I said I would drive him home. It's on my way. Mike was thrilled not to have to call home for a ride. Upon dropping him off Mike said, so where to you live around here? I said Niagara Falls. That's not on your way home! It is when family or a friend is in need and that is how our group always was. Mike was part of our family at work. We end up losing touch with so many of our co-workers after retirement and I am sorry that you have lost someone special. Please know that he was also special to his Westside family too.

As a coworker of Mike at General Motors I can honestly say that there are few people as kind and decent as Mike. He always displayed patience and kindness to those he dealt with while at work and managed to find something good to say about those he was in contact with.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family. May he rest in peace.
