Olga Crockford

CROCKFORD, Olga – Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the age of 84. Loved wife of the late Allen. Beloved mother of Ellen Jones (Mark) of Surrey, BC, Patricia Parker (Alvin) of the Soo and James Crockford of Tres St. Redempteur, Quebec. Olga loved and adored her grandchildren Neville and Andrea Jones; Amanda and Amber Parker; Nathan, Brigitte, Lindsay and Chelsea Crockford. Dear sister of Jeannette Wowk, Omar Derkach (Petra) and Helen Bjork (Art). Predeceased by her brother Steve Derkach and sisters Rose McDowell, Nettie Hamm, Anne Kulcheski, Paula Kryger and Emily Rempel. Sister-in-law of Ross Crockford (Glenna), Doris Crockford (late Earl) and Norma Crockford (late Len). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Olga will be remembered for her love of life which included great pride in her grandchildren. She was a spiritual lady, who loved pets, flowers, singing and to bake. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 10 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 am. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery, Thessalon on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 4 pm. Memorial contributions to the Arthritis Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
