WARD, Olive Mona (Johnson) – At the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in her 94th year. A long-time resident of Hamilton, ON, where she and her late husband Lee Ward owned and operated Ward’s Restaurant for over 40 years. Deeply missed by son Paul and daughter-in-law Tina of Echo Bay, and grandchildren Michael Ward (Jessica Portelli-Ward) and Jenna Ward of Sault Ste. Marie and Lauren Ward of Weyburn, SK. Dear great grandmother of Kellen Ward, son of Michael and Jessica. Survived by her sister Lillian McFarlane of Burlington, ON. Predeceased by her siblings Audrey Ward of Owen Sound, and Ted Johnson of Jacksonville, FL. A never-discouraged fan of the Tiger-Cats, Blue Jays and Maple Leafs. She was a beloved “Aunt Olive” to her extended Ward, McFarlane, Tomalty and Johnson families.
