It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Paul at the age of 70 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.
He is son to the late Roy and Margaret. Cherished father of Tammy, Adam, Becky (Richard), Caitlin, Jessica (Kyle) and the late Catrina. Proud "Poppa Wheelie" to Sam, Kennedy, Ashley, Mason, Landon, Anneliese, Maddox, Aria, Leo, Logan, Evie and Sophie. Loving brother to Patti Lynne (Bruce), Brenda (late Theo), Beth (Paul), and the late David (Sheri). Long time friend to Linda. He will be missed by many other friends and family.
Paul will be fondly remembered for his love of History Documentaries, The Weather Network and Rock 95. He was a master of his craft framing beautiful homes and commercial buildings around North America and also loved to passionately share his knowledge with others. He loved to spend time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren. Paul's perfect day was a day on the lake casting a line and creating memories with loved ones. Paul had a love for animals and his grand-furbabies.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Rask and the care team at Royal Victoria Hospital. They would also like to thank the wonderful team at Sault Area Hospital for their care and compassion in his final days.
As per Paul's request, there will be no formal funeral service. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026 in Sault Ste. Marie, with specific location to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Hudson Regional Cancer Centre in Barrie Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family. Please visit www.arthurfuneralhome.com obituaries section to leave a message of condolence as a keepsake for the family.
