HAMMELL, Robert Lawrence Phillipp, Peacefully passed, with his daughters by his side on Monday July 26, 2021 in his 93rd year.

Reunited with the love of his life of 66 years, Beryl. Sadly missed by his children Brenda Brown (Doug), Greg (Sue) and Valerie Irving. Proud grandpa of Ryan Brown (Erin), Corey Brown (Ashley), Tyson Hammell (Stephanie), Jason Irving (Lacey), Matthew Irving (Christine), and great grandpa of Keeley, Grady, Sophia, Matteo, Lauryn, Logan, Daphne, Eloise and Genevieve. Father-in-Law of Tracy Hammell.

A special thank you goes to the incredible, caring staff at Pathways. We would also like to thank the special staff at the F.J. Davey Home Driftwood 3 and Cedar Grove 3. Your kindness and empathy will never be forgotten. According to Bob's wishes there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer's Society of Sault Ste. Marie, would be greatly appreciated by the family. My deepest condolences in the passing of Mr Hammel. He was a terrific individual. I strongly remember the numerous bridge games between Bob/Beryl and my folks. They are all reunited and can resume their matches. Sending my prayers.

Rest In Peace Uncle Bob. We had a lot of good times together and some great conversations. We always enjoyed visits to "The Soo" and spending time with you and Aunt Beryl and Brenda and Valerie.
We will cherish all the memories!
