Ronald William Davidson

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved Dad and Grandfather Ron at the age of 86.

He was son to the late Ron and Mary Davidson. Cherished father to Deborah Basawa (Ray). "Grandpa D" of Rayann Simon (Erik) and William Basawa (Courtney). He is predeceased by his siblings Lois (Bob), Dianne (Jim) and James. Uncle of Lori Carmichael-Vandermoer (Tony) of London Ontario.

Ron will be fondly remember for his love of hunting and fishing up the Whitman Dam Road and Nascar. He would do anything for anybody, but he will be remembered fondly for his stubborn nature. He will be reunited with is life-long buddies, Gary Gjos and Dennis Mills, as well as his favourite dog Missy.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Rassouli, Nurse Jennifer, Dr. Fera, the nurses of 3B and especially Amy, his homecare nurse for their care and compassion. We would also like to thank his neighbour and friend Bruce for everything he has done for Ron.

As per Ron's request there will be no formal funeral service at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to (made payable by cheque or online) A.R.C.H. would be greatly appreciated by the family.
