MCCANN, Rose - It is with great sadness that the family of Rose McCann announces her death at the S.A.H. Plummer Site, on Tuesday March 1, 2011 at the age of 75 years. She was surrounded by supportive family and friends for several days prior to her passing. Rose graduated in 1956 from the Marymount School of Nursing in Sudbury, ON and had a varied career in nursing until her retirement from the V.O.N. in Sault Ste. Marie. Her very proud parents were Anthony Carbone and Angelina Ubriaco. Beloved sister of Mary Cundari (late Romeo), late John Carbone (Lillian), Art Carbone (Beth) and Rita Rollins (Don). She will be missed by eleven precious nieces and nephews and their families. At Rose’s request a private family funeral was held at St. Gerard Majella Church with Rev. Francis Ezenezi officiating. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 9 am. Memorial donations to Algoma Regional Cancer Clinic or A.R.C.H. would be appreciated by the family. (Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 705-759-2522.

Dearest Rita & Don
You are very much in my thoughts and prayers. I loved Rose from the first time I met her........we shared a wonderful friendship and I treasure the memories. She was so much fun. Our 'ski group' will never be the same.
You were the best sister anyone could hope for. My love to both of you and the rest of your family.
My heart feels empty and I will be with you in spirit tomorrow morning at the memorial service.
God bless you, Rita.
Our condolences,
Beth & Bob Schryer
