SOLOMON, Rose (Inglesina) – Rose passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the age of 96. Loving wife of the late George Solomon. Cherished mother of Sharon Valente, Darlene Kelly (Kevin) and son-in-law Joe Valente. Adored Grandmother of Jason (Kaitlyn), Shannon (Vance), Siobhan and Jordan. Daughter of the late Guiseppe and late Amabile Schiratti. Dear sister of Olga Whittom (late Ivan) and predeceased by Helen O’Brien (Jack), Erma McHugh (Ed), Ermo Schiratti (Elia) and Mary Murphy (John). She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Rose was a very kind, patient and caring person. Her family was everything to her, especially her grandchildren who meant the world to her. A private family service has been held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Claranne McFarling officiated. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff of Echo Bay floor at Maple View Nursing Home.
