Devoted father and best friend to Kerry (Amy), Samantha Porcaro (Marty), Susan Pins (Jeff), Bobby, and Barb. Sante will be reunited with his parents Dominic and Cecile Pavoni, and his grandparents Russell and Cecile Lavallee. Survived by his loving wife Jenny. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters, Michelle Inch (Andy), Marie Carter (John), Daniel, Mark (Lori) and Irene Gionette (Ned).
He will forever be loved and missed by his grandchildren, Jonah (Kyler), Eli, Chase (Izzy), Alicia, Austin, Christion, Lacy, Dallas, Gabby, Taylor, Alma, Kaden, Aaron, Justin, Abby, and Violet, as well as many great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was truly a loving, dedicated, and devoted husband to his wife Jenny, whom he went to see and take care of everyday at Long Term care.
Sante had many friends whom I know will miss him. He loved watching his F-1 and Nascar races, going for truck rides, going out for breakfast with his brother and out for coffee with his friends. He also loved animals. He will be reunited with Mocha. Sante will truly be missed by his furry friend Oscar and their snuggle time on his chair and his bed. Oh! And all those extra treats he gave him!!!
He never missed out on coming and being a part of everyone's lives, whether it was watching one of the boys football or hockey games, celebrating someone's birthday or baking cookies, cakes and muffins for everyone to enjoy. He also enjoyed coming to watch his son and nephew play their boring old man senior hockey games.
Our Papa had the biggest heart anyone could ever know. It was always in the right place. His kindness, sense of humour, and helpfulness, he showed it without judgement, to everyone he met, and knew.
I'm sure Sante is up in heaven baking, maybe even one of his famous poke cakes for everyone to enjoy!
"Dad, I will miss our morning talks, watching the morning news together, discussing and solving the world's problems with solutions from the comfort of our home, simply starting our day. The way we understood each other's dark sense of humour, and inside jokes that only the two of us would get!"
We will all miss your kindness, witty sense of humour, and your helpfulness you shared, without judgement, to everyone you met!
A celebration of life for family and friends will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East; 705-759-2522). Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the family.
In memory of Sante show love and kindness to everyone and take time to listen to anyone that needs a friend.
