WILLIAMS, Sydney George (Syd) - August 15, 1948 - December 26, 2012 - It is with great sadness that the family of Syd Williams announce his passing after a courageous battle with Cancer. Loving spouse of Kathy Carter. Son of Roy (late) and Peggy Williams. Cherished brother of Don Williams (Helen) and Shirley Williams. Father of Derek Williams (Sandi). Fondly remembered by Francis. Loved son-in-law of Kay Carter (late Aaron). Brother-in-law of Steven (Jill), David, Michael (Carlotta), Shelley (Rod), Leona (Dan) and Carla (Wayne). Much loved step father of Bill (Cate), Miranda, Sean (Samantha) and Annie (Brandon). Proud Poppa of Benjamin, Jacob, Nathan and Alex. Long life friend of Fernand (Frog). Will be missed by all his friends and family, and his buddies Jake and Gidget. A memorial visitation will be held for family and friends at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 6 – 8 pm.
