NICHOLSON, Terrance (Terry) – Peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the age of 60. Beloved husband, partner and best friend of Veronica. Cherished son of his loving and caring mother, Margaret (Peggy) Nicholson and the late Morris Nicholson. Loving father of Chantal Alkins (Wes), Amber Nicholson and Greatest step-father of Tania Grozelle (Scott) and Derek Roussel. Dear brother of Susan Hemsworth (Greg), Bill Nicholson (Sharon), Michael Nicholson (Donna) and Cheryl Carlucci (Ron). Brother-in-law of Renee Coppens (Alf), late Jacques Cote (Vivienne), Doris Potvin (Fred) and Serge Cote (Lucy). Special Grandpa of Jade, Zoe, Zachary, Bryce, Celeste, Leo and Simone. Terry will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and fondly remembered by many who knew him. A heartfelt thank you to friends and family for all the caring help shown to us. In keeping with Terry’s request, there will be no funeral services. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society, Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
