I my am praying for the whole family.
Mike and Elizabeth and Mrs Cohen. In 1969, Mike was the drummer in our band. You people where the coolest among the cool parents as we practiced our tunes in and above your garage, Hard work and a passion for what you do at the time leads to great rewards. Thanks for the opportunity, thanks for the guidance.
Still playing Music, retired and a life well traveled with the best of people.

To the Cohen Family: Please accept our sincere condolences on Judge Cohen's passing. We spent considerable time in his court over the years in our professional capacity. We found Wayne very generous of his time and appreciated his no-nonsense approach!
May he rest in peace.
Sincerely, Gary Burns and Lee Campbell, (retired police officers)

So saddened to hear of Wayne's passing. My condolences to his family.
As others have said, Wayne was one of those senior judges who was quick to welcome the young newbies and offer his insight and wisdom, most often expressed with humour. I fondly recall his story telling in our judges' association hospitality suite, often into the wee hours. His dedication to the court and our association was appreciated more than I think he realized.
God bless and may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

My condolences to Joan and the Cohen family.

Wayne never stopped praising you Joan for your beautiful work on the Virginiatown and Lake Superior properties, he was very proud of you.

Wayne loved being a judge. He put his whole heart into his work and always tried to do right to those unfortunates who appeared before him.

He also worked very hard as the retired judges’ Northeastern representative, seeing that retired judges received the strongest representation in all our interests coming before the judges committee.

Wayne was a real friend who always kept me informed, called me at about 8:15 a.m. every morning, saying his Regional Senior Judge had to know what was going on. Wayne never refused an assignment and sacrificed himself to be a real team player. It was such a pleasure to have him as a good friend and we always enjoyed breakfast together when we were in each other’s community. Wayne, I look forward to seeing you again some day in the spirit world.

May God bless and protect your family.

What a wonderful person. We shared many hours together at Association meetings and at the various conferences for Judges. He was a serious, kind person yet he had an enormous sense of humour.

I will always remember his unique kernels of wisdom such as ,
" Oats make the horse go faster" , and " pay the money", when we discussed Board strategy ( which apparently worked). A truly remarkable gentleman that I remember with a smile on each us when we were together . We will miss you, friend.
