Tom was born in Sault Ste. Marie to Alex and Virve Kuuskman on June 2, 1954. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his son Sheldon (mother Melanie Johns), brother Peter (Mary), twin sister Linda Gorman (Patrick), nieces Tara Kuuskman (Travers Hobbs), Katherine Kuuskman, Michaela Kuuskman (Jared Shilson), and great-uncle of Lincoln Kim, Beau Hobbs and Juniper Shilson. Loving friend of Leona Taylor.
Tom graduated from Bawating Collegiate and Vocational School in 1973 and Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1977. He was proud of his 37 year partnership at CAS Accounting Services with Jim Landry and his experiences as a real estate agent with Royal LePage Northern Advantage. Tom loved family gatherings, telling jokes and laughing, discussing politics and connecting with people. Tom’s fondest memories were spending quality time with his son “Speedy” Sheldon while attending Greyhound games, camping in northern Michigan and driving around Sault Ste. Marie to watch construction equipment in action.
