Brian Thomas Lanier

Brian was born and raised in Savannah and was a 2002 graduate of Savannah Christian School. He also was a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Logistics. He was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Following his graduation, Brian worked at the Georgia Port Authority for 6 years. He moved to Atlanta to work for Cellchem International, LLC, for a brief time as operations and logistics manager.

Brian’s biggest love was when he was on or close to the water. He was a certified life guard at Tybee for 4 years and was a certified Scuba Diver. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and had a strong Christian belief. Brian was blessed with many friends and will be greatly miss by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Sarah Jones Lanier, his father, Tom Lanier; a sister and brother in law, Shari Lanier Kuhns and Jeffery Kuhns; a nephew, Griffin Edwin Kuhns, a very close family friend, Laurel McKeith, all of Savannah; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00a.m., Friday, February 7, 2014 in the Chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel with Rev. Archie Seabrook
