
Daisy Bell Benton Tolbert-Williams, 69 of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2011 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Lee Roy Williams. She was born in Sylvania, Ga., and had lived in Savannah all of her life. Daisy was a faithful member of the First Zion Belmont Missionary Baptist Church and served on The Mother's Board. She is survived by three sons; Gregory B. Pinckney (Renee) of Maryland, Emmitt Tyrone Tolbert of Seattle, Washington; Robbie Spencer Tolbert (Detra) of Savannah; one daughter, Georgia Ann Hutchinson, of Savannah; seven brothers, Eugene Reddick, Cleveland White, Ruben White, Bobby Gene White, Bobby Joe White, Ulysses White, and Nathaniel White; two sisters, Lena Tremble and Patricia Ramirez; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and a cousin. Funeral Services: 11:00a.m. Thursday at First Zion Belmont Missionary Baptist Church, 820 Sherman Ave, Savannah, Ga 31405, with Pastor Vincent Smalls officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Williams will be taken to the church at 9 a.m. Thursday to lie in state. Remembrances: American Diabetes Association .
