Mrs. Dorothy Jones Kennedy, age 88, of Savannah, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015.
A daughter of the late Fred and Josephine Howell Jones, she was born April 14, 1926 in Sweetwater, TN. Mrs. Kennedy was a retired administrative assistant with the University System of Georgia and was of the Methodist faith. She reared her children as a single mother and was a very caring and family oriented lady.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald Scott Kennedy and Warren Michael Kennedy and by two sisters, Gretta Jones Cook and Evelyn Ross Epperson.
A private family memorial service will be held for Mrs. Kennedy at a later date.
