Mrs Essie Mae Ward

She was born in Pierce County, Ga., and had formerly worked as a Secretary for Sloan Electric Company and she also worked as a Mary Kay Cosmetics Representative. She was a member of the Coastal Cathedral Church of God.

She is survived by 2 daughters and sons in law, Jean D. and Ivan DeLong of Richmond Hill, Ga; Debbie and Sonny Cooler, of Faulkville, Ga; a sister and brother in law, Dorothy and Bernard Foote of Blue Ridge, Ga; 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Graveside Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lake Chapel Cemetery, with Rev. Jim Sullivan and Rev. Alfred Banks officiating.

Remembrances: Bryan County Health and Rehabiliation Activity Fund, Breast Cancer Research in care of Susan G. Komen; Lake Chapel Primitive Baptist Church ,or Hospice Savannah, Inc., 1352 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, Ga 31406.
