

He was born in Bowman, South Carolina on July 6, 1930, but lived most of his life in Savannah.
He was retired from Atlanta Gas Light/Savannah Gas Company and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Mr. Hodge was a past member of the Savannah Jaycees and a member of Kawanis Club of Savannah, graduated from Savannah High School and attended Armstrong State College
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mable Arant Hodge and Francis Marion Hodge, Jr.
Mr. Hodge is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley Hinely Hodge, his sons, Michael M. Hodge and Dennis S. Hodge (Susan), four grandsons, Zachary, Joshua, Micah, and Jason, and by two great-grandchildren, Braeden and Everly.
Visitation: 10 – 11 am Tuesday February 24, 2015 at Fairhaven Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with the Funeral Service to follow at 11 am. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
