

Gladys Thelma Crumley of Savannah, Georgia died Sunday at Pruitt Health Care. She was born in Sylvania, Georgia. After graduation, she served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as an air traffic controller in Key West Florida. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple and was active in the Hannah Bible Class, the Shut in ministry and Craft classes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sol and Gladys Burris; brothers, Sol “Bo” Burris, Alfred E.Burris; sisters, Idelle Godbee and Lila Burris.
Surviving is her beloved husband, Jack Crumley; sons, John Comer (Janis), David Comer (Anne), Richard Crumley; daughter, Carolyn Shannon (Kevin); 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 10 am – 11 am Thursday June 25, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Temple with the Funeral following at 11 am. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
