My sincere condolences to the Webster family. Gwen was a true friend; she was a such wonderful lady I will miss her greatly. Our paths crossed many years ago because both of our families were in commercial fishing. My prayers go out to all of the Webster family for such a heart felt loss.

To the Webster Family,
You all are in my thoughts and prayers!! Mrs. Webster loved her children and grandchildren.  She expected them to follow the rules (right Joseph).  I will miss seeing her walk down the halls at Hesse picking up grandchildren.  I am sorry I did not make it to visitation or the funeral but just know that your are all in my prayers!! I will miss her!!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Gwen.  She will be missed by so many.  Our prayers go out to the family.

My deepest sympathy goes out to James, Theresa, Greg, Joey, & Dawn. Memories of Gwen cloud my mind now. She was a close friend of my family for decades. I have many fond memories of Gwen with my family. She will be sadly missed and remembered. If there is life after death I can only imagine whats going on now with the crew that has gone ahead of us all....!

'Hello Ms. Gwen', that was my greeting to this wonderful Lady whether pulling up in the yard, or calling on the phone.  I truly respected, and appreciated Ms. Gwen, for all she was, and all she did.  I will miss Ms. Gwen so very very much.  I did not know of her 'Blue Angel' call name until just these past few days. How perfect. This Angel Ms. Gwen has reached the Blue Heavens now.  I will not say Goodbye to Ms. Gwen, I will see her again someday.

To the Webster Family; 
You all have been our neighbors for over 40 years. It seems like second nature to hear your mother over in the yard rounding up kids, grandchildren, dogs and chickens. It will be all too quiet now.
I'll miss calling her to ask if some of my cats were over there only for her to ask if any of her chickens were over in our yard, only to have a friendly swap of cats for chickens. 
I truly knew that if we ever needed anything, no matter what time of day, she would be there to help, and has. She is the true epitome of what a good neighbor should be.
As kids, she ruled with an iron hand and it didn't matter whose child you were if you were doing something wrong, you were hers and handled the punishment accordingly; the great cigarette incident comes to mind. We are all better adults because of it.
I can only picture Captain Joe and Gwen on the bow of their boat with smooth seas, abundance of shrimp in the nets headed toward God's golden shore.
Her presence will be greatly missed. 
Please know that our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you all and our wish for you is Peace in the days to come.

Gwen was many things to many individuals...she was my sister-in-law for 54 years!  My earliest memory of her is as a six year old holding her first born (James) on my lap.  Always one to get the job done, over thirty years ago, she arranged our wedding on a shrimp boat on the intercostal waterway.
  She made the best shrimp salad I have ever had the pleasure of eating and I will always savor the memory of Thanksgiving and Gwen's Shrimp Salad.  I will miss her candor and sparkling eyes at family gatherings.  She was a hardworking, straightforward, and tireless women...rest in peace.  My love to all my nephews, nieces, and the many 
others who will feel her loss for years to come.  Meta
