Ja'von Malik Wilson

Ja’von was born in Savannah, Georgia, on May 9, 1996, to Clifford Wilson, Jr. and Vernee Roberts.

Ja’von was known by his family and friends to be a very respectful person. He was smart, loving and he was known to give the shirt off his back if needed. He enjoyed many things like playing basketball, being around his family and friends and watching his favorite team, the Steelers.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ida Wilson.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his parents, Clifford Wilson, Jr. (Yukita) and Vernee Roberts (Jermaine); his paternal grandfather, Clifford Wilson, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Victor and Vanessa Miller; three brothers, Tre’von Wilson, De’von Wilson and Deequan Campbell; three sisters, Aaliyah Wilson, Aaliyah Brown and Saniyah Wilson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 until 2 o’clock, Friday, at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel, Savannah. The wake service will be held at 7:00 o’clock, Friday, in the chapel of the funeral home. The funeral will be held at 1 o’clock, Saturday, in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
