He was the son of the late William Donnelly Bridges III and the late Ruth Treanor Bridges.
He is survived by his son William Donnelly Bridges (Suzanne) and step daughter Kelly Cronk, siblings, Virginia Clary (Ron) Diane Rigelwood, Thomas Bridges (Shirley), Carolyn Whitis, Cay McConnell (Bobby) and Barbara Williams. Also his former wife Pam Bridges and former mother-in-law, Mary B. Sullivan, 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday June 7, 2012 at Cresthill Baptist Church 9120 Whitifield Ave Savannah, Ga. 31406.
