Joseph L. Winters

He was born in Savannah, GA. and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the ship USS Shea.. He was a member of the Local Sheet Metal Workers International Association Local #85. He was a member of the Loyal order of the Moose Lodge #1550, was a Moose Legionnaire, previous member of the Eagle Fraternity and active member of the American Legion. He loved his grandchildren, fishing and Skiing.

He is survived by his wife, Faulkner Winters of Savannah, GA.; son, Rod Winters (Kelly) of Savannah, GA.; daughter, Donna Presley (Ron) of Woodstock, GA.; brother, John Winters (Bubba); grandchildren, Amber Harrell and April Richardson; great-grandson, Eric Connelly; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6 – 8 pm Thursday September 17, 2015 at Fairhaven Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel 7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr. Savannah, GA. 31406.
