Kathleen Angela Schroder

Kathleen Angela Schroder, 68, of Tybee Island, Ga., died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center, after a long illness. She was born in Savannah, Ga., and was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Schroder and Sara Sadie McGrath Schroder. She was a Communicant of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and was an Educator, where she served as a Teacher of Religion at St. Vincent's Academy, until she had to retire due to her health. She is survived by a brother and sister in law, Henry and Kim Schroder, of Burlington, Washington; and a sister and brother in law, Julie and Michael Ferraro, of Savannah, GA, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Rosary Service: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. J. Gerard Schreck, Officiating. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist with Rev. J. Gerard Schreck, officiating.
